How to Block Rackspace Webmail Login Access?
Given below are the instructions that will help you block Rackspace webmail access to a user that is a part of your hosting account:
Step 1- Load a Web Browser
Starting with the basics, turn on your PC or laptop and open a web browser that you find easy to use. No matter which web browser you select to block the Rackspace webmail access, ensure that it is not running on an outdated version. In case it is, get it updated to avoid running into technical issues amidst the process.
Apart from updating the web browser, erase the cache, cookies, and browsing history of the web browser you are currently using. It will prevent the loading of the cached version of the Rackspace login page.
Step 2- Log in to the Rackspace Cloud Account
Now, the next step is to log in to your Rackspace Cloud Office Control Panel. For this, navigate the cursor to the address bar of the web browser and type the default web address of the Rackspace Cloud Office Control Panel. Thereafter, press the Enter key.
You will get welcomed by a login page, where you have to enter the Rackspace Cloud Office admin ID and password. So, fill in the required details and click the Log In button. Double-check the login username and password. The reason being they are case-sensitive.
Step 3- Block Access
Once you get logged in to the Cloud Office Control Panel, navigate to the Rackspace Email section. Thereafter, click the Mailboxes option. Just in case you have multiple domains, choose the domain for the mailbox to which you want to block the Rackspace admin login access.
In the next window, the list of your mailboxes will come into view. Now, navigate to the far-right column and click Action. Thenceforth, click the Block Access option to block access to the corresponding mailbox. Once you do that, you will be prompted to confirm your selection. Read the message carefully and click the YES, BLOCK ACCESS button. The moment you confirm the selection, the targeted mailbox will get greyed out in the mailbox list. It indicates that the owner of the subjected mailbox won’t be able to access it.
Note: Disabling the Rackspace mailbox does not remove it from the billing. So, it will continue to receive and store mail even after the access is blocked.
