Exam Pattern of CAT 2022
- The Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) section contain 24 questions for a total of 72 marks with a time duration of 40 minutes.
- The Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning(DILR) section comprise 20 questions for a total of 60 marks with a time limit of 40 minutes.
- The Quantitative Ability includes 22 questions of 66 total marks with a time duration of 40 minutes.
Eligibility for CAT 2022 Examination
- The candidate must have a BA degree with a minimum of 50% marks( 45% for SC/ ST and PWD category).
- The recognition of the University by the Central Legislature in India or the State is mandatory.
- The weightage of the marks in the paper will be according to the University guidelines.
- If a final year student meets the above criteria, then he/ she can also sit for this exam.
