Exam Pattern of CAT 2022

  1. The Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) section contain 24 questions for a total of 72 marks with a time duration of 40 minutes.
  2. The Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning(DILR) section comprise 20 questions for a total of 60 marks with a time limit of 40 minutes.
  3. The Quantitative Ability includes 22 questions of 66 total marks with a time duration of 40 minutes.

Eligibility for CAT 2022 Examination

  1.  The candidate must have a BA degree with a minimum of 50% marks( 45% for SC/ ST and PWD category).
  2. The recognition of the University by the Central Legislature in India or the State is mandatory.
  3. The weightage of the marks in the paper will be according to the University guidelines.
  4. If a final year student meets the above criteria, then he/ she can also sit for this exam.
